                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1904 AND
                   1910 WHEELER AVENUE, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST
                   LINE OF WHEELER AVENUE NORTHEAST OF GILBERT
                   STREET FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO M-1
                   MANUFACTURING ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1904 and 1910 Wheeler
                Avenue, being on the southeast line of Wheeler
                Avenue northeast of Gilbert Street.  Lots 3, 4, 5,
                6, and 7, and the north 40 feet of lot 2, block 28,
                Second Arlington Heights Addition to Chattanooga,
                as shown by plat of record in plat book 5, page 23,
                ROHC; being the property described in deed book
                3812, page 612, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 136L-R-11 and
                12.
               
               
         from R-2 Residential Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Subject to parking only.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
